Privacy isn’t a feature we added. It’s a decision we made before we wrote a single line of code.

Your information is yours alone.

Manny handles personal information to do its job. We’ve built it so that information stays locked to your account — encrypted, protected, and inaccessible to anyone else.

We don’t mine your data to build profiles. We don’t share what Manny knows about you with third parties. Your details — your tasks, your preferences, your history — are held in a private environment created just for you.

What you share stays in your hands.

When you share your profile with family members, friends, or anyone you’ve invited into your Manny network, you decide exactly what they can see. Shared access doesn’t mean open access.

Contact details, preferences, and personal information are only visible to the people you’ve explicitly chosen to share them with — and only to the extent you’ve allowed. You can update, restrict, or revoke that access at any time. What you keep private stays private, even within your circle.

Your account is protected from the start.

Signing in is protected by modern, hardened authentication infrastructure that guards against brute-force attacks, credential leaks, and unauthorised access attempts. Your password is never stored on our servers.

You can enable multi-factor authentication for an extra layer of protection. Manage your active sessions. Sign out everywhere. You’re always in control of who has access to your account — and we make it easy to take that access back.

Manny has limits. By design.

An assistant this capable needs guardrails. We’ve put them in place deliberately.

Manny operates within a defined set of behavioural rules that we don’t let it cross — no matter how it’s prompted. It won’t take actions outside the boundaries we’ve set. It won’t share your information in ways you haven’t authorised. It won’t act on instructions that conflict with your safety and privacy.

These aren’t just policies. They’re technical constraints baked into how Manny works. We review and update them continuously as Manny’s capabilities grow.

Manny only works with businesses we’ve verified.

When Manny searches, books, or buys on your behalf, it doesn’t roam freely across the internet. It works exclusively from a curated list of 100+ verified businesses and institutions — vetted, monitored, and constantly updated by our team.

Every listing on that list has been checked for legitimacy, reliability, and safety. If a business doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn’t make the list. If one falls short after the fact, it comes off. You can trust that when Manny acts on your behalf, it’s dealing with organisations we’d stake our name on.

Your card never leaves your wallet.

When Manny makes a purchase on your behalf, it doesn’t use your card on file. Every user gets their own dedicated virtual card — a separate payment instrument used exclusively for agent transactions. Your actual card details stay where they belong: with you.

This separation matters. It means your primary payment method is never exposed during Manny’s activity. If anything ever goes wrong with a transaction, your real card is untouched.

And we back every purchase Manny makes with up to R25,000 in buy protection. If something you bought through Manny doesn’t arrive, isn’t as described, or goes wrong through no fault of your own, you’re covered.

Your card details never touch our servers.

ManyHands never sees your card number. Not during checkout, not after. When you add a payment method, it goes directly to a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest certification in the industry.

Your card details are tokenised and stored inside that certified environment. We only ever receive the minimum needed to manage your account. That’s it.

What you do with Manny is private.

When Manny browses the web, runs tasks, or does research on your behalf, it’s working for you — not collecting data about you. We don’t build an advertising profile from your activity. We don’t track which websites Manny visits on your behalf to sell that information.

Your browsing activity stays within your session. It’s not shared. It’s not sold. It’s not used for anything other than completing your request.

Your images and files are protected.

Files, images, and documents you share with Manny — whether to complete a task or as context — are treated with strict confidentiality. They’re encrypted in transit and at rest. They’re not scanned for advertising purposes. They’re not shared with third parties.

When you delete something, it’s gone. We don’t hold onto your files after you remove them.

Take it with you. Or delete it. Any time.

You can access, download, or delete anything you’ve shared with Manny — a chat, a file, an image, a preference — whenever you want. No dark patterns. No cancellation mazes. No “are you sure?” ten times over.

It’s a right you have under South African law (POPIA), and it’s how we think ManyHands should work anyway. Close your account and your data goes with you. Come back later and start fresh. It’s your call, always.
